A Compendium of Practical Theology.
The Life of Christ course integrates Bible knowledge, Bible background,
theological concepts, personal spiritual formation, and practical ministry
work, into a single series of study, based on the life of Jesus Christ as
recorded in the Gospel of Matthew.
Our Urbacad classes are based on the concept that people learn best when
they discover truth for themselves, discuss it with others, practice how
to apply truth to ministry, and then use those truths to increase their
usefulness to the Kingdom of God.
Each Urbacad study group meets as a cadre, taking each book and each unit
in order, working and encouraging one another for mutual success. The
group leader for the cadre must be trained in principles of effective
teaching and group dynamics, and keep in regular contact with one of the
Center Directors.

Cost:
Each workbook in the series is $20.00. The Group Leader’s guide for each
workbook is $8.00. These prices are postpaid.
Please note: the
Center Directors will supply these books only to trained group leaders and
will continue to follow up with all group leaders. This is necessary,
because the Urbacad approach is a lot more than just a workbook for a
weekly Bible study. The elements of weekly seminar discussion, and
supervised ministry assignments and projects, are essential to the success
of the students in the study group.
